1. Identity & Scope

IQ-Dash Technology LLC ("we", "us") operates from the State of Utah. This Policy governs the collection and use of data across our web and mobile applications. By using the Service, you consent to the data practices described herein.

2. Data We Collect

  • Account Data: Name, email, phone number, and encrypted credentials to manage your identity.
  • Visual Data (Critical): Photos and videos uploaded for estimation purposes.
  • Financial Data: Transaction history and billing details (processed securely via Stripe; we do not store full card numbers).
  • Technical Data: IP addresses, device IDs, and usage logs for security and fraud prevention.

3. Image Usage & AI Training Rights

Your Photos Fuel Our Intelligence.

By using IQ-Dash, you acknowledge that our AI technology requires continuous learning to provide accurate estimates.

  • License: You grant us a worldwide, royalty-free license to process your uploaded images to provide the Service.
  • Training: We may use anonymized and aggregated visual data extracted from your uploads to train, improve, and validate our AI models.
  • Irrevocability of Insights: While you may request deletion of your raw personal data (see Section 5), you cannot revoke IQ-Dash's right to retain and use the anonymized mathematical insights, patterns, or algorithmic improvements already derived from your data.

4. Third-Party Sharing

We share data strictly with necessary service providers under contract:

  • Stripe: For payment processing.
  • Cloud Providers (e.g., AWS, Vercel): For hosting and storage.
  • AI Vendors (e.g., Google, OpenAI): For image analysis.

We do not sell your personal contact information to third-party marketing agencies without your explicit consent.

5. Data Retention & Deletion

We retain data as long as necessary to provide the Service and comply with legal obligations:

  • Identifiable Images: Retained for 90 days post-service for dispute resolution, then scheduled for deletion or permanent anonymization.
  • Financial Records: Retained for 7 years (tax/legal requirement).
  • Aggregated AI Data: Retained indefinitely as part of our intellectual property.

6. Security & Breach Notification

We utilize industry-standard measures (TLS encryption, bcrypt password hashing, access controls). In the event of a confirmed data breach affecting your unencrypted personal information, we will notify you and relevant authorities without unreasonable delay, consistent with the Utah Consumer Privacy Act (UCPA) and applicable federal laws.

7. SMS & Communications

By providing your number, you expressly consent to receive transactional and marketing texts from IQ-Dash.

CONTROL: You may opt-out at any time by replying STOP. Message and data rates may apply. Consent is not a condition of purchase.

8. Your Privacy Rights

Residents of Utah (and applicable jurisdictions) have the right to:

  • Confirm if we process your data and access it.
  • Delete your personal data.
  • Obtain a copy of your data in a portable format.

To exercise these rights, email privacy@iqdash.com. We will respond within 45 days, subject to a 45-day extension if reasonably necessary.
